Landscape Design & Installation
A planting plan built for your light, soil and grade
We are a landscape company first. Every LHC project starts with a designer walking the property — checking sun, drainage and how you actually use the yard — then drawing a planting plan that looks finished the day the crew leaves and better every year after.
What's included
- Full property design with plant-by-plant layouts
- Shrubs, perennials, ornamental trees and privacy screening
- Bed shaping, edging, mulch and boulder work
- Grading and drainage corrected as part of the design
- Seasonal color and low-maintenance plant selections
How the project runs
- 1
On-site design walk
A designer measures the yard, checks grade and water movement, and listens to how you want to use the space.
- 2
Plan & written estimate
You get a layout and a firm price — no line items appearing later.
- 3
Install
Our own crew does the work. Site cleaned at the end of every day.
- 4
Walkthrough
We hand off care instructions for the first season and stand behind the plantings.

Common questions
When is the best time to plant?
Spring and fall are ideal in Lake County, but we plant successfully from April through November with proper watering. Fall installs establish roots before winter and are often the fastest to schedule.
Do you fix drainage problems?
Yes — grading, drain tile and downspout routing are part of the design, not an upsell. Standing water is usually a grade problem, and we solve it before anything gets planted.
